Day of Agenda
Introduction (10 minutes):
Welcome participants and share the benefits of creative expression.
Briefly introduce Kandinsky and my journey with circles.
Explain the simple acrylic painting techniques you'll be using.
Warm-Up Exercise (15 minutes):
Guide participants through a quick exercise to get them comfortable with the materials. Tell them about the browning effect.
This could be as simple as experimenting with different brushstrokes or color mixing.
Demonstration on how to “ground” on a canvas or board (5-7minutes).
Guided Painting Session (45 minutes):
Explain we will paint on a gridded canvas. They can mix it up, spirals, circles or whatever moves them. Make sure to play with color!
Allow the first strokes to dry and then layer for fun.
Encourage them to add their own personal touches.
Sharing and Appreciation (10 minutes):
Invite participants to share their paintings (if they wish).
Create a positive and supportive environment for feedback.
Acknowledge everyone's effort and creativity.
